We have created a slice of Italy on the Mittelland Canal. It’s all about Italian coffee and food culture at MONDO ITALIANO. How about an Italian sandwich or finger food for lunch? A cappuccino and dolci in the afternoon? Prosecco and Venetian cicchetti as an aperitivo in the early evening? Or a refreshing cocktail later in the evening? MONDO ITALIANO is a café, lounge, and a bar rolled into one. They have special evening events with live music as well, such as Thirsty Thursday, Frizzy Friday, and Saturday Night Fever. Start off your evening with cocktails, long drinks, and Italian appetisers.

On Wednesdays, we’re offering two 0.1-litre glasses of wine and a platter of antipasti
featuring Italian delicacies for €19.90.

After Work Thursday

Enjoy laid-back beats, refreshing drinks and light snacks in a relaxed
atmosphere by the Mittelland Canal. Every Thursday from 5 pm.

Negroni Friday

Friday is Negroni time. The classic aperitif made with gin, Campari and red vermouth is simply the perfect way to kick off the weekend. That’s why our Classic Negroni is available every Friday between 6pm and 8pm for just € 8.

Saturday Night Fever

Kick off the night with a massive party! Every Saturday, this popular spot on the Mittelland Canal transforms into the perfect party venue, serving up delicious cocktails and pulsating beats.
Happy Hour from 7 pm to 9 pm: € 8.50 per cocktail, or € 6 for non-alcoholic cocktails
