As part of its environmental and energy policy, Autostadt is committed to permanently reducing its ecological footprint. As a responsible company, we want to actively contribute to solving regional and global environmental problems – not just as a goal, but as a practice we put into action.

Sustainability is a central component of our actions. We see it as a continuous process that combines ecological, economic, and social aspects. Our goal is to use resources responsibly, avoid emissions, and ensure a livable environment in the long term – for current and future generations.

Our certified management systems for the environment and energy form the basis for this. For example, our entire power supply has been converted to green electricity. This means that the energy for lighting, interactive exhibitions, and installations at the Autostadt, as well as the electricity for the office buildings, is sourced from renewable energies.
