Autostadt conducts its environmental and energy initiatives based on certified management systems. The goal is to continuously improve environmental and energy performance by reducing energy consumption, increasing resource efficiency, and reducing operational emissions.

This is achieved through defined measures and target programs, the progress of which is regularly reviewed. Autostadt obtains electricity from renewable energy sources to meet its power needs. The origin of this electricity is documented through the energy supplier’s corresponding certification systems.

Environmental, energy, and resource efficiency criteria are taken into account in operational decisions and are regularly evaluated as part of the environmental management system.
