DVR safety training courses in your own car as well as motorbike riding courses are now also possible again. For safety reasons, accompanied tours on our off-road course as well as e-test drives in the ServiceHaus car park are unfortunately currently not possible.
Alternatively, though, you could come to our grand unaccompanied test drive event with more than 80 VW Group vehicles which we will be hosting in our advanced driving area within the scope of our Family Weeks from 4 June to 11 July.
However, please note that you must present proof of a negative rapid antigen test (valid for a maximum of 24 hours) or a PCR test (valid for a maximum of 48 hours), proof of recent recovery from Covid-19 or official proof of vaccination in order to be able to take part.
The safety course combines impressive driving experiences with drills for safe driving – on wet roads or on slippery mountains. The instructors* will show you how to steer your vehicle with confidence even in unexpected situations and difficult weather conditions.
Safety and hygiene measures for the driving experience programme
You can now book rides on the off-road track, safety training courses in Autostadt vehicles, as well as free "alternative drive" test drives in the electric cars again. To that end, the Autostadt has adopted comprehensive hygiene and safety measures based on official regulations to ensure the safety of participants. This includes filling out a registration form before starting the journey, and a piece of film between the driver's and co-driver's seat. The vehicles are also cleaned, ventilated and disinfected after each journey. In addition, all passengers must wear mouth and nose protection so that people accompanying them from their own household can also take part in the journey.
