A bird’s-eye view of the ŠKODA pavilion is that of the winged arrow, logo ŠKODA brand is using since 1926. Its architecture combines elements taken from various periods of Bohemian cultural history. The exterior architecture is a design by renowned Czech architect prof. Dr. Bořek Šípek.

"Simply clever" for 125 years

The ŠKODA pavilion now includes a new exhibition, dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the traditional car manufacturer from Mladá Boleslav. Guests are invited to embark on a journey through ŠKODA's company history and experience today's automotive world while taking a glimpse into the future.

Past and future come together

We are proud to showcase a special highlight – the ŠKODA Popular 1100 OHV that dates back to 1939. It represents the company's exemplary past, spanning over 125 years. The two-door roadster was the first series-produced car to feature a gearbox mounted separately from the engine on the rear axle differential. This innovative transaxle design put the Popular ahead of its time and it is now considered an automotive milestone.
The purely electric concept study of the VISION iV offers a glimpse of what the ŠKODA brand holds for the future. The four-door crossover coupe is the first vehicle based on the Volkswagen Group's modular e-drive system (MEB) and impresses with its sporty lines. Its four-wheel drive and two electric motors guarantee a dynamic driving experience.

Innovative Vehicle

At ŠKODA, "iV" stands for "innovative vehicle", which is used to distinguish vehicles that meet this special requirement. Alongside the VISION iV concept study, two current models with this abbreviation will be featured in the pavilion: The Superb Combi iV (combined fuel consumption 1.7 l/100km, combined CO2 emissions 38 g/km, efficiency class A+) is ŠKODA's first production model fitted with a plug-in hybrid drive. Guests can experience this unique model as well as the fully electric ŠKODA Citigo e iV (power consumption 12.9 kWh/100 km, CO2 emission 0 g/100 km efficiency class A+).
