THE SEAT PAVILION
Web Content Display
As a brand SEAT represents Mediterranean vitality and temperament. The SEAT pavilion is a bright white, sensuously curved sculpture. A wooden bridge leads the visitor into the middle of the curved building. The pavilion is bounded by the land and the water of the lagoon thereby imitating the geography of the Iberian Peninsula.

Fast and powerful: Vehicles currently on show in the SEAT Pavilion
We are currently showing you particularly dynamic models from the SEAT and CUPRA brands. With the LEON Sportstourer FR 1.4 e-HYBRID we are presenting a model with the acronym "FR" in its name. SEAT's "FR" acronym stands for "Formula Racing" and is used to vehicles that are distinctively sporty in terms of their design and features. Like most hybrids, it recharges the battery automatically. But it’s a plug-in model too. This means it uses its electric motor first, only resorting to the petrol motor for extra power. You should also have a closer look at the full electric CUPRA BORN (electricity consumption in kWh/100 km: 17,5 - 15,8 (combined); CO2-emissions in g/km (combined): 0) and the CUPRA Ateca (fuel consumption l/100km: 8,9 (combined); CO2-emissions combined, g/km: 202) . The aluminium-look sports pedals and the alcantara-covered bucket seats are representative examples of the CUPRA philosophy: motor sport and lifestyle.
Experience light, joy and technology at the Pavilion
In the SEAT Pavilion, light, joy and technology transport you to the special world of this Spanish Volkswagen subsidiary. A visit to the SEAT Pavilion feels like a short break in Barcelona with the whole family. The staging highlights the Mediterranean origins of the Spanish brand and is a spectacular experience for young and old. Particularly the large-scale panorama of Barcelona at the entrance offers much to look at for the whole family, especially children: In a space-filling video projection made up of 630,000 stills, you experience sunrise and sunset in Barcelona, the city where SEAT's headquarters are.
The second part of the exhibition is dedicated to SEAT's technology. SEAT's Car Configurator makes it possible to equip a vehicle with all of your preferred features. One highlight is the so-called video mapping area with a white SEAT model. The various steps of the design process are shown on its surface in 360-degree views. The car as a projector screen: From the design sketch to the grid overlay and a clay model. Insights, perspectives, trip simulations, motion, still life in colour and a fast-paced film – in the end, the image dissolves into countless glowing dots. The tour ends at the cinema, where you'll get an insight into the Spanish car manufacturer's history.
