Your suitcases and bags can be left at out LuggageService (GepäckService). The staff at the LuggageService (GepäckService) will bring your luggage right to your new vehicle in the CustomerCentre (KundenCenter) when it is delivered.

If you are coming to the Autostadt to collect a vehicle, you can book a FactoryTour due to availability on the day of collection. Please contact our Customer Care Center in advance via phone: 0800 288 678 238

The factory tour takes in several of Volkswagen’s production halls and therefore only takes place on days when these are in operation. This is why we cannot offer the FactoryTour on weekends, public holidays and the days falling between weekends and public holidays or during the factory’s annual summer closure. Please be aware that the factory tour can be cancelled at short notice.

Sie können die Autostadt vom Bahnhof aus bereits sehen. Es ist nur ein kurzer Spaziergang, der Sie in wenigen Minuten über die Stadtbrücke zum Eingangsbereich der Autostadt führt. 
Tipp: Auf Google Maps können Sie den Weg vom Bahnhof dorthin leicht nachvollziehen.

Bitte bringen Sie zur Fahrzeugabholung Kennzeichenträger mit. Sie erhalten diese von ihrem Vertragspartner. Die Montage erfolgt vor Ort in der Autostadt. Sollten Sie keine Kennzeichenträger dabei haben, werden bei der Abholung in der Autostadt nach Verfügbarkeit Autostadt Kennzeichenträger montiert.

At present vehicles of the Volkswagen, SEAT and CUPRA brands which have been ordered at a dealership in Germany can be collected at the Autostadt.

Wenn Sie als Fahrzeugabholer mit einem Mietwagen, z.B. der Anbieter Avis, Sixt und Europcar, anreisen, können Sie diesen gerne vollgetankt in der Autostadt abgeben. Folgen Sie dazu auf dem Weg zu den Autostadt Parkflächen einfach der Beschilderung „Mietwagenannahme“. Die Mitarbeitenden des ParkingTeams auf dem Kurzzeitparkplatz nehmen die Fahrzeuge täglich zwischen 09:00 und 16:45 Uhr in Empfang.

Hinweis: Die Überführungstarife der Anbieter variieren und die Abgabe der Mietfahrzeuge in der Autostadt wird nicht von allen Mietwagenfirmen kostenfrei angeboten. Bitte setzen Sie sich bezüglich möglicher Überführungskosten direkt mit den Anbietern in Verbindung.

Bitte wenden Sie sich sowohl bei einer Verschiebung des Abholdatums als auch mit dem Wunsch, die Uhrzeit zu ändern, an Ihren Volkswagen Partner. Er bucht den Termin.

Ihre Vertretung benötigt vor Ort eine ausgefüllte und unterschriebene Vollmacht, diese ist integriert in Ihren Abholschein. Der Abholschein wird zur Anmeldung in der Autostadt benötigt und Sie erhalten ihn bei Ihrem Volkswagen Partner. Zudem benötigt Ihre Vertretung eine Kopie Ihres Personalausweises.

Das Luxushotel The Ritz-Carlton, Wolfsburg, befindet sich direkt auf dem Gelände der Autostadt. Sie erreichen es zu Fuß bei einem Spaziergang durch die Park- und Lagunenlandschaft der Autostadt oder mit dem Auto über die Parkstraße. Folgen Sie dazu ab der Ausfahrt „Wolfsburg" den Wegweisern „Autostadt“. Biegen Sie auf der Berliner Brücke rechts ab und fahren Sie den grünen Hotel-Wegweisern zum The Ritz-Carlton nach. Vor den gläsernen Autotürmen der Autostadt führt Sie die Parkstraße direkt zum Hotel.

If you are unable to collect your vehicle on time i.e. you have not checked in by the alotted 90 minutes before your appointment, our customer service staff will find a new hand-over time for you. Please take into account that changes at short-notice can take up to several hours from the original appointment time.

On the day of collection you can use your entry ticket to enter and leave the Autostadt grounds as often as you please. If you would like to return to the park once you have collected your new vehicle, an Autostadt host will issue you with a free parking ticket for your new vehicle parking place as you leave the CustomerCentre.

After arriving at the Customer Check-in (AbholerWelt), handing over your registration plates and receiving the time for your appointment, your new vehicle is then processed. A fully-automated process then takes it from its place in the CarTower (AutoTurm) to the CustomerCentre (KundenCenter) where it receives its finishing touches before hand-over. We need about 90 minutes to ensure that your vehicle has its registration plates fixed in place, that is has been checked and polished to perfection.

When collecting your new vehicle please have the following documents to hand: your registration document, your identity document as well as driver’s license and the receipt (Abholschein) which has been issued to you by the dealer. In addition you will need license plates for the new vehicle. If these are to be applied onto a special holder please take this to the Customer Check-in (AbholerWelt). If you are collecting a vehicle on behalf of the person whose name is on the registration it is essential that you bring a letter of authorisation authorizing you to collect the car. It is standard that all Volkswagen vehicles are equipped with a warning/breakdown triangle and first aid kit and you therefore do not have to bring these.
