PREMIUM CLUBHOUSE

The Premium Clubhouse reflects the Volkswagen Group’s premium thinking. It is situated, nestling like a jewel, in the curve of a little hill between the ZeitHaus museum and the five-star-superior hotel, The Ritz-Carlton, Wolfsburg.
The pavilion’s shape is inspired by part of the race track at Le Mans. In the 20s and 30s this famous circuit saw the motor-sport legend Bentley rise to fame.

The interior of the Premium Clubhouse not only takes up the “premium” idea, but brings it to life artistically: once you have stepped inside you are faced with Anselm Reyle’s light installation “Untitled”. The Premium Clubhouse’s exhibition area is reached after crossing a curved walkway and moving along a mirror installation. Here, at eye-level, a mirror-finish Bugatti Veyron 16.4 stands on a mirrored ellipse.
