Guestrooms and suites

A new room-in-room concept was developed for the 147 guestrooms and 23 suites. Cosiness and comfort are key elements in the decor of the rooms and suites. Elliott Barnes created a room-in-room concept. High, leather-covered headboards and sideboards frame the beds and sofas on the opposite side of the room. The leather coverings are manufactured by a company that specializes in high-precision interiors for luxury cars. Gently contoured edges parenthetically extend from the walls to create a more intimate space. Standing up, the room appears wider and more spacious. A large, oval table serves as the communicative centre of the space and can be used for meetings, working, reading or dining. The hotel suites feature a separate living area that accentuates the intimacy of the interior design and offers a comfortable place to relax.

BLACK & WHITE SUITE

The Black Suite and White Suite on the fourth floor of The Ritz-Carlton, Wolfsburg offer the utmost comfort. These 220-square-metre apartments are named after the colour scheme in each suite and bathroom, where designer Andrée Putman's signature design is featured. The black and white checkerboard tiles have been restored and harmoniously integrated into the new design concept. A rotunda covered with an aluminium-coloured dome marks the entrance to the suites, each with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a spacious terrace with panoramic views of the Autostadt.
