Try out new technical systems on the driving attraction at the Autostadt
Driver assistance systems, including automatic parking, traffic sign recognition and automatic distance control are becoming more common in today's cars. The new 'Ausfahrt' at the Autostadt in Wolfsburg offers guests an opportunity to try out these technical systems in models manufactured by Volkswagen. This helps to ensure safer driving in road traffic. The new 'Ausfahrt' driving attraction combines a clear customer focus, quality and service into a truly unique experience. At the same time, Autostadt guests can become familiar with current and future Volkswagen Group technologies.
Automotive experience on 15,000 square metres
Customers picking up their new cars are thoroughly briefed by experts in the CustomerCenter. Afterwards, they can take their time and try out the new vehicle in a safe area. The 'Ausfahrt' is also open to other Autostadt guests interested in experiencing state-of-the-art automotive technologies. The 315-metre 'lap of honour' offers guests a place to practice driving with a trailer or try out technical features, including traffic sign recognition, start-stop system, or hill start assist. A practice area is located inside this ring.
