A boat trip on the canal shows the Autostadt and the Volkswagen plant from a totally new perspective. The Autostadt’s own canal cruiser departs five times a day from the quay in front of the KonzernForum for a one-hour long tour. The FGS Havelland takes you past the The Ritz-Carlton, Wolfsburg and further on along the canal past the KraftWerk (power station) and the Volkswagen plant before heading towards Fallersleben and back to the Autostadt.

The passenger ship FGS Havelland welcomes visitors aboard! It was built in 1971 in Saxony-Anhalt and became a traditional legend of the former “Weißen Flotte” (White Fleet) in Berlin. It served for several years on the Havel, as well as on the river Spree in and around Berlin. The ship was witness to the changes of 1989 and operated in the re-united German capital ever since. Now the FGS Havelland functions as an ambassador of the German capital in Wolfsburg and establishes a connection between modern and traditional mobility.
